PROCEDURE
Suspend 0.11 G of powder in 950 mL of filtered natural
seawater. Add 2 vials of F/2 Trace Metal Solution (MB-F0766) and add 2 vials of
F/2 Vitamin Solution (MB-F0767). Bring the final volume to 1 L with filtered
natural seawater. Sterilize in autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Dispense into
final containers.
STORE
The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room
temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and
use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or
contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
