* 유산균 배양 시, Lactobacillus의 성장을 억제하고 Bifidobacterium 속만 선택적으로 배양하기 위해 사용되는 배지입니다.

* Upgrade라고 기재된 MB-T0893 제품은 성분은 그대로지만, 선택성을 높인 배지로, Lactobacillus의 성장능력 저하를 더 강화시킨 배지입니다. (일반 T0892 제품과 비교하면 Bifidobacterium 의 colony 크기가 작아질 수 있으나 균 수는 차이가 없는 것이 일반적입니다.)

PROCEDURE

Suspend 62.5 G of powder in 990 ml of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. Sterilize by autoclave at 115°C for 15 minutes. Cool to below 45-50°C in water bath. Aseptically add 2 vials of MUP supplement (MB-M3006) or add more supplement as you need. Mix well. Pour into petri dishes.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2-8°C.
