Development of a yellow coloration (ONPG +), emission of fluorescence and development of pink-red ring (Indole +) indicates presence of E. coli.

PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD

대장균 검사는 대장균을 다른 장내세균과 구별하기 위해 세 가지의 중요한 생화학적 반응 – ONPG, 형광, Indole생성을 확인하며 대장균의 식별에 사용됩니다.

PROCEDURE

• 키트를 꺼내어 실온에 잠시 방치합니다.

• 0.3mL의 Physiological solution [MB-20095]를 첨가합니다.

• 멸균된 루프 등을 이용하여 순수배양된 의심집락을 tube에 접종하고 잘 섞어줍니다.

• 37℃에서 1~4시간에서 최대 24시간까지 배양합니다.

• 배양 후 현탁액의 색, 자외선 하의 형광 관찰 여부를 확인하며 Kovac’s reagent를 첨가하여 붉은 색으로 변하는지 확인합니다.

STORE

Store E.coli Test at 2-6 °C in its original package. In such conditions the product is valid until the expiry date shown on the label. Do not use them beyond that date. Dispose of them if they show signs of deterioration.
