PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD

Oxidase Test disc는 Cytochrome oxidase 효소를 생성하는 박테리아를 식별하는 키트입니다. 이 효소를 생성하는 미생물은 시약을 떨어트리고 10~30분 이내 보라색이 나타나게 됩니다.

PROCEDURE

• 키트를 꺼내어 실온에 잠시 방치합니다. (시약은 사용 직전에 냉동고에서 꺼냅니다)

• 멸균된 루프를 사용하여 순수 배양된 의심 집락을 스틱 끝에에 접종합니다.

• Oxidase Test reagent를 1~2방울 첨가합니다.

• 35±2℃에서 10~30분 동안 배양한 뒤 결과를 확인합니다.

STORE

Keep Oxidase Test Stick at -20 to 0°C in their original packaging protected from sunlight. Keep them away from sources of heat and avoid excessive temperature fluctuations. In these conditions, Oxidase Test Stick are valid until the expiry date shown on the label. Do not use them beyond that date. Dispose of them if they show signs of deterioration (for example, sticks’ colors change).
