PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD

Indole test는 트립토파나아제를 생성하는 미생물이 인돌, 피루브산, 암모니아에서 트립토판을 가수분해하며 인돌의 존재를 Kovac’s reagent를 통해 알 수 있는 키트입니다. 노란색인 Kovac’s reagent는 인돌과 반응하여 시험관 표면에 붉은색을 띄게 됩니다.

PROCEDURE

• 키트를 꺼내어 실온에 잠시 방치합니다.

• 멸균된 루프를 사용하여 순수 배양된 의심 집락을 튜브에 접종합니다.

• 36℃에서 1~4시간에서 최대 24시간동안 배양합니다.

• Kovac’s reagent를 2~3방울 접종한 뒤 결과를 확인합니다.

STORE

Store Indole Test at 2-6 °C in its original package. In such conditions the product is valid until the expiry date shown on the label. Do not use after expiry date. Dispose of them if they show signs of deterioration.
