INTERPRETATION

Tryptone is a pancreatic digest of casein containing all the amino acids found in casein as well as larger peptide fractions. This product is an excellent nutrients for use in culture media for producing antibiotics, toxins, enzymes and other biological products. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical and veterinary industries and in diagnostic culture media.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration are evident.
